DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE

CONCERNING
AUTHORIZATION OF ISSUANCE OF IMPORT APPROVAL OF GOODS WITHOUT IMPORTER IDENTITY NUMBER (API)

THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE,

Considering:

that in the framework of implementing Article 4 of Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 276/MPP/ Kep/4/2003 dated April 9, 2003 on verification or technical surveillance of import of textile and clothing (TPT), it is deemed necessary to stipulate a decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade on the appointment of surveyors as the executors of verification and technical surveillance of import of TPT;

In view of:

Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 276/MPP/Kep/4/2003 dated April 9, 2003 on verification or technical surveillance of import of textile and clothing (TPT);

DECIDES:

To stipulate:

FIRST:

To appoint surveyors as the executors of verification of import of textile and clothing (TPT), namely:

• 1. PT Surveyor Indonesia;
• 2. PT Superintending Company of Indonesia (PT (Persero) SUCOFINDO).

SECOND:

The two surveyors as meant in FIRST Dictum are assigned:

1. to verify or undertake technical surveillance covering data or information about:

• a. countries of producers of goods;
• b. specification of goods which includes the number of HS, the description of goods, and material composition;
• c. The number and type of goods;
• d. shipping Time.

2. pour the results of the verification or technical surveillance as referred to in item 1, into the Survey Report which is used as an import documents for the issuance of Notice of Imported Goods ( PIB )

3. submit a written report on the activities of technical verification or periodic textile import 1 ( one) times a month in the first week of next month to the Director General of Foreign Trade cq. Import Director of the Department of Industry and Trade.

THIRD :

In carrying out verification on textile imports , surveyors can collect fees for services that it provides that the amount of textile importers tailored to benefit principle.

FOURTH :

All costs incurred related to the implementation of this decision is the responsibility of surveyors.

FIFTH :

The appointment of surveyor referred to in the First Dictum not remove the authority of the Minister of Industry and Commerce to revoke , replace and add to the appointment of surveyors as the executor of the verification or technical textile imports.

SIXTH :

Technical matters relating to the implementation of this decision determined by the Director General of Foreign Trade Ministry of Industry and Trade.

SEVENTH :

This decision is effective from the date specified.Stipulated in Jakarta
